It has been more than a year since the new avatar of Contests2win.com went live. For 9 years we were all about brands, contests and winning…but something was still amiss. That something was user interaction and a ‘real’ community.
Over the past 15 months we’ve been able to create a really unique one-of-a-kind community. We are the true examples of User Generated Content in India. We are nearing 50,000 pieces of content created by our users and it has been an amazing time. We’ve had quizzes created about almost every thing possible! Be it Movies (Bollywood & Hollywood), Sport (Cricket, Football, NFL, NHL, NBA, Hockey etc), Music (from Indian classical to modern day Rock), Politics, Finance, Fashion, Technology etc. You name it and there is a contest about it at C2W.
From a mere contesting portal we’ve become one of the leading entertainment hubs in India!
But new users still always ask the same question! How can there be no prize in a contest? What is a contest without a prize? Well this is where we will ask you the question. We’ve just launched our portal in the United States and we will be giving out prizes in the US, but C2W is more than just contests and winning. It is about creating content and expressing yourself. Playing quizzes, rating images, expressing your opinions, making friends and what not? We don’t want to limit ourselves to just India and the United States. What we have right now on the site is content which will appeal to every person in the world.
So how do we position ourselves? Even the dictionary.com meaning of contest associates the word with a prize! So give us your suggestions. We’ll call all the Quizzes / Hangmans / Twisters / Crosswords….which have a prize – a Contest. What do we call the others?
Some suggestions are: Games, Mini Games, qGames (q = Quizzing) , iGames, Quizzes, PlayThings, Word Games, eGames etc…

May be you can call them FUNPOOL- meaning a pool of games where you play them for fun or gameboard or kaleidoscope . also gamewheel

wow..Is there a need to differentiate between a contest with prize and without prize.
I am sure there will be a lot of suggestions coming.

6. Test
7. Dare / Call out / Rumble
an “i” might be added to all those words to give it the “online” hint.
No matter what you call it, C2W will always rock!

like c2w has made columnes of prize and prize points there shud be one more column play for fun
and all the contests without prize or prize points shud be kept there and at left hand side there shud be like currently the campaigns which r going r go girl go,q7,2>1 so there shud be columns for that so the users can click on it and play which ever type of contests they like and like normally every page is having the side bar of quiz,hangman etc and today,this week,this year.that will make browsing of contests easer and fun to play and one more suggestion u shud per month keep like there is best creators there shud be a prize for some users who play the maximum no. of play for fun contests that will increase the plays too.plz reply devil how did u like my suggestion.

every time i see various compaign on cricket basketball , girls only about banks
but i think there should be a compaign should come in which we should create contests on science related contests
and prizes should also related to science like telescope and books
