Nice Looking Thumbnail: Our system automatically picks up the last question’s image / video (screenshot of the video) and resizes the same into a square thumbnail. So to get nice looking thumbnails just add the best image to the last question, also ensure that the image is square rather than rectangular. Mind Your Case: Many users put questions in all LARGE CAPS which not only irritating but also difficult to read, that said even having everything in small caps makes your quiz look untidy, therefore when you create your game, do take special care is checking your case, therefore using the right case, i.e. Capitalizing the first word of the sentence does help in making your game look not just neat and tidy, but also more appealing for the user playing it.
Relevant Tags: Tagging your content is a great way for people to find your content, but these tags are a double edged sword, what I mean is, if you use the wrong tags, people searching for something else land up on your game, and they leave immediately. So if you use specific tags related to your games and avoid generic tags (crossword, quiz) or some user name (freya, devil), the user who finds your game, will surely play it.

I think its better to use full words and avoid the sms lingo in the Games. Its really irritating to read – “Hu ws da fst king f ma cntry” . trust me, this is not the worst. i can’t think of a better example right now.

hi! very few users uses tags as there r millions of tags……..btw the questions of hangman must not be too lengthy….we hav to understand that some users may not hav fast browsing speed!!!

Hello this is one is nice thing to share our opinion. What I think is number of question should be less not more than 20. and avoid short forms and picture should be clear. Moderator should alway give response in saying how is the contests this in turn will give appreciation and boost our moral.

tips are ok but this site never rply of the mails of any prob that we send to them i have mailed 5 times but i got no answer,this is very bad thing for the site they should rply.

@Kapil, Its definately not true that we don’t reply to emails… as we do our best and always try to reply to each and every mail.. we also put out our own emails (mine is alex( @ )c2w.com) so that users can send us queries or can message me on my message board http://in.c2w.com/users/alexanderX/messages… Further the blog is good place to ask questions.

The whole idea of tags, is to not get restricted to certain category for e.g. if you make a contest on Aamir Khan, you will put him under bollywood, and thats it, your game is lost with games about Bollywood in general, about some movie, or those about other actors. but with a Aamir Khan tag, you can group your game with other Aamir Khan games on c2w.com
The point is to get your games found and played by people who are interested in the topic of your game, i.e. Aamir khan fans should easily find your game on Aamir Khan and be able to play it, without having to look thru all Bollywood Quizzes.

The most important tip for any user…..plz read the rules & regulations of the contest before participating in it…..Firstly, the images being uploaded in the “Capture the Moment” game are not all taken….sum do open the fact that they are postcard…or copied from google…..secondly, the “Never Ending Bollywood Pictionary”. It demands pics to be drawn in hand…but what I can witness is images being copied from google and pasted one on one….that’s really sad…as the whole motive of the game changes…so please “Read The Rules Before Starting Off With Something”…:)

Make ur contest look attractive…..put big and beautiful images…..In description box write as much as u can……write the things based on ur contest…….
send ur contest to all moderators…….as people visit the moderator profile many times…to solve there quaries…atleast once they will play…and try to post those images in ur contest that have been made by u..Regards siddhant

@anushree ur suggestion for the contests like “capture the moment” is totally correct
but as far as “Never ending Bollywood/hollywood pictionary” is concerned we can use the images from google and merge it i.e also know as pictionary only….u can also check contests made on this theme in past they also contain this type of images…
& it’s true that “one should read the rules”

@sarvesh: you can surely merge 2 pics.. but u need to add ur own creativity as well.. only merging is not the criteria.. it is also mentioned in the pictionaries tht u cannot lift any pictures from the internet

One tip from me as well: please watch your grammar while you are creating.. bad grammar is a huge turn off..! and avoid repetitions.. make your questions as well as contest unique..

Some time people create contests for a particular campaign which is not at all related to that campaign…
other thing : title of the contests should be correct like some contests title and the content in the contest is totally different…
